Dr. Duncan McPherson appointed to WHO expert group on medical devices

Dr Duncan McPherson, who recently joined LNE-GMED UK as internal clinician, has been appointed as a member of the first-ever Strategic and Technical Advisory Group on Medical Devices (STAG MEDEV) formed by the World Health Organization (WHO).

The purpose of this expert group is to support the WHO in its efforts to improve access to high-quality, affordable, safe, and effective medical devices for all.

These objectives are aligned with the GMED group’s ambition to support innovation for the benefit of patient safety.
