Transitioning to GMED has given me the opportunity to support that same mission from the regulatory side, helping verify the safety, quality, and compliance of the technologies used throughout the patient care journey. Every day, I am grateful to work alongside experts whose knowledge, mentorship, and collaborative spirit make GMED an outstanding place to learn, grow, and make an impact.

In her role, Rifka combines team leadership with hands-on involvement in GMED’s day-to-day certification operations. From managing client contracts and certification documentation to supporting processing reviews and coordinating activities across the certification process, she and her team provide the continuity that keeps projects moving. Her role puts her in close contact with both clients and internal teams, making her an important link throughout the certification journey.

Having our clients and patient safety at the heart of my mission as Certification Director, we strive as a team to simplify complex processes, enhance operational agility, and help accelerate patient access to safe medical devices worldwide.

In his role, Ehab engages in sleeves-up, hands-on collaboration with a team of experts and project managers to ensure predictable timelines, clear process expectations, and value-added services for clients, all while safeguarding the patient population and contributing to mission-driven work.

It’s incredibly rewarding to work alongside highly qualified and passionate people who come together to help manufacturers bring safe, innovative, and
effective medical devices to the global market.

In her role, Isabela works to build strong relationships with clients and help them navigate the complexities of regulatory pathways. 

Every day, I work closely with manufacturers to ensure their medical devices meet the highest international standards. This effort helps protect both healthcare professionals and the patients who rely on these technologies. It is rewarding to see how our work not only supports compliance but also builds confidence in life-saving innovations. My work bridges regulatory requirements and scientific assessment, ensuring that every device we certify upholds both safety and quality.

In his role, Ebba oversees the evaluation of medical devices to ensure their materials and design are safe and reliable.

I’m proud to be part of a team that brings this same detail-focused mindset to medical device safety. It’s incredibly satisfying to know that my work directly supports cutting-edge innovations that improve healthcare. Each day at GMED NA brings new opportunities for professional development, both through the support of our talented team and by navigating the regulatory nuances of each client’s unique situation.

In her role, Liene supports teams by processing reviews, preparing certification documents, and guiding manufacturers through certification.

Working in an environment where everyone works toward the same goals make the work meaningful and rewarding. And, knowing that the work we produce make a difference in patient health and safety is truly fulfilling.

In her role, Victoria oversees the planning, coordination, and optimization of resources to support regulatory compliance, certification, and audit activities for non-active medical devices.
