Job Description
The main mission of the Technical Specialist is to act as the subject matter expert to aid in business development. Provide their knowledge of medical devices to build client relationships. This position will report directly to the Business Development and Marketing Director.
In a typical week after training you’ll:
- Accompany the sales team on client calls or attend industry events
- Help educate the sales team on subject matter relevant to the clients
- Monitor medical device trends, relevant legislation, and competitor activity
- Develop project plans with input from project leaders and functional groups
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in business, medical device regulations, or other related discipline or associate degree and related experience.
- 3+ years of technical sales and/or business development experience in the medical devices industry
- Experience with CE marking, Medical Device Directive (MDD), Medical Device Regulation (MDR), ISO 13485 and MDSAP program
- Ability to travel 25%
- Well-established project management skills. Analysis, planning, organization, execution, and follow-up
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a willingness to create strong collaborations among teams
