GMED recognized as a conformity assessment body in South Africa

We are proud to announce that GMED has been recognized by the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) as a conformity assessment body and is now on the authority’s List Of Recognised Conformity Assessment Bodies. 

This recognition enables any establishment based in South Africa holding an ISO 13485:2016 certificate issued by GMED to apply for a license as a manufacturer, importer, distributor, or wholesaler of medical devices and in vitro diagnostic medical devices.

This marks a new milestone in strengthening our mission: supporting medical device stakeholders in accessing international markets.
