Joint implementation and preparedness plan for Regulation (EU) 2017/746 on in vitro diagnostic medical devices

The objective of this document is to identify the priority actions to be implemented in order to meet the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2017/746.

This joint implementation plan is the result of the analysis performed by the MDCG, including the relevant subgroups, with the input from stakeholders.

It was approved in principle at the MDCG meeting of May 28, 2021.

This plan is a living document to track the implementation of the required actions. The status and timeline of individual items may be updated to reflect work progress.
