1. Standard Registrations

For registrations purchased at the standard published price, participants may cancel or transfer their registration under the following conditions:

More than 30 or 45 Calendar Days Before the Training Start Date:

If GMED receives written notice of cancellation more than thirty (30) calendar days before the scheduled virtual training start date or more than forty-five (45) calendar days before the scheduled in-person training start date, the participant may choose one of the following options:

  • Receive a full refund of the registration fee, less any non-refundable payment processing or administrative fees; or
  • Transfer the registration to another GMED public training session of equal value scheduled within twelve (12) months of the original training date.

If the registration fee for the replacement training exceeds the amount originally paid, the participant will be responsible for paying the difference.

Participant substitutions from the same organization are permitted at no additional cost.

Thirty (30) or Forty-Five (45) Calendar Days or Less Before the Training Start Date:

Cancellations received thirty (30) calendar days for virtual training or forty-five (45) calendar days for in-person training or less before the scheduled training start date are not eligible for a refund or transfer to another training session.

However, the registered participant may be substituted by another individual from the same organization at no additional charge, provided GMED receives written notification prior to the start of the training.2.

2. Promotional and Discounted Registrations

This section applies to all registrations purchased using promotional pricing, customer-specific discounts, partner discounts, volume discounts, complimentary registrations, or any discounted registration other than the published standard registration fee.

All promotional and discounted registrations are final.

These registrations:

  • are non-refundable;
  • may not be transferred to another GMED training session; and
  • may not be converted into training credit.

A participant may, however, be substituted by another individual from the same organization at no additional cost, provided GMED receives written notification prior to the start of the training.

3. Non-Attendance

Participants who fail to attend a scheduled training session without prior written notification will be considered a “No Show.”

No refund, transfer, or training credit will be provided for non-attendance.

4. GMED Cancellation or Rescheduling

GMED reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any training session due to insufficient enrollment, instructor availability, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

If GMED cancels or reschedules a training session, registered participants will be offered the option to:

  • receive a full refund of the registration fee; or
  • transfer their registration to another available GMED training session of equivalent value.

GMED shall not be responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other incidental expenses incurred by participants.

5. General Provisions

GMED reserves the right to substitute instructors, modify training schedules, or make minor changes to course content without prior notice where necessary.

GMED also reserves the right to make reasonable exceptions to this policy, at its sole discretion, in exceptional circumstances. Any exception granted on one occasion shall not constitute a waiver of this policy or establish a precedent for future requests.
